Dylan Lee Baxter’s first short film, made at the University of Colorado Boulder, was titled Anita.

When a pregnant woman and her boyfriend discover her father’s sudden death, they must confront a deadly ultimatum that could change their lives forever.

Dylan wrote, directed, shot, and edited the film. While some of the dialogue feels rough in retrospect, Anita marked the beginning of his journey into cinematography, color grading, and visual storytelling — skills he continues to develop in every project.
