Trash Panda

Written, shot, and edited in one week by Dylan Lee Baxter and Noah Junct as part of a group project for a production class at the University of Colorado Boulder.

In this dark comedy short, a nervous 19-year-old named Trevor meets with an eccentric dealer known as Trash Panda to buy a mysterious substance called “Tokyo.” But what begins as a sketchy drug deal turns into a surreal therapy session filled with heartbreak, Peaky Blinders references, and unexpected self-reflection.

Dylan co-wrote, shot, directed, and edited the film, while Noah co-wrote and acted in it. The short was developed, shot, and finished in just one week—a fast-paced creative sprint that blended absurdist humor with stylized dialogue and character-driven comedy.
